KEVIN’s 2018 JEEP JK UNLIMITED SAHARA STORY
My original intentions for the Jeep did not include using it for off-roading or creating content for YouTube. The objective behind the purchase was to list it on Turo, a car-sharing platform similar to AirBnB. I already had a successful vehicle listed on Turo and was looking to increase my offerings. During my research, I found out that Jeeps were highly in demand among renters. However, after experiencing off-roading for the first time, I changed my mind and the Jeep became my full-time adventure vehicle. The name “Maverik,” inspired by the movie Top-Gun, represents an individual who is nonconventional and independent in their approach.

Greetings, I am Kevin Jorgensen, the driver of “Maverick” 2018 Jeep JK Sahara. I have a strong love for outdoor activities and sports cars. The thought of owning a Jeep or 4×4 vehicle was never in my mind as I considered them too costly. I was used to traveling abroad about 4 to 5 times annually, but the pandemic made that impossible. Hence, I bought a Jeep to list on a rental platform and make use of it during my personal travels when it’s not being rented. Surprisingly, I found myself creating a YouTube channel and group named O4lo, something I had never imagined doing.

Kevin Jorgensen founded the Overland 4lo community on July 16, 2021, with the aim of bringing together overlanders and rock crawlers who use a variety of vehicle brands. The community was formed by original members of a previous unnamed group, and has since grown to include a significant number of new members who are also followers of KJorgensen TV on YouTube, which has now been rebranded as O4lo.
